Thank you for visiting the website of the Society of Ethical Attorneys at Law (SEAL). 
This website allows users to join or contribute to SEAL and allows the submission of other data.  We do NOT sell this information to third parties.  We take reasonable steps to safeguard all information from inadvertent disclosure.

However, please note:  if you have information regarding any unethical or illegal conduct which you choose to share with us, we may reveal that information and your contact information to appropriate bar associations, grievance committees, law enforcement, and other organizations.  This will happen only when, in our judgment, it furthers the purpose and mission of SEAL and/or its members.  While SEAL never releases this information without a good reason, we work diligently to ferret out all aspects of unethical conduct.  Sometimes, cooperation with above agencies and a release of such information is necessary to promote this higher ethical standard.

SEAL is a section 501(c)(6) tax exempt nonprofit corporation created for  purposes expressed in our Certificate of Formation as filed with the Texas Secretary of State.  WE ARE NOT A LAW FIRM and WE DO NOT PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES OR ADVICE.  We maintain this website for informational purposes only, on issues regarding our Society.  None of the information at this website is intended to constitute, nor does it constitute, legal advice, and none of the information necessarily reflects the opinions of the Society of Ethical Attorneys at Law, its Board of Directors, its officers, or its members.

Any information that you send us in an email message or drop bin might not be confidential or privileged.  SEAL protects personal information submitted by users of the website, through the use of firewalls and other security measures on our servers.  However, no server is 100 percent secure.  Take this into account when submitting personal or confidential data about yourself on any website, including this one.

Additionally, while the website does not gather your name, email address or similar information about you without your knowledge or consent, the website permits you to voluntarily submit data about yourself so that we can further our mission. We will incorporate this information into our mailing database, but it will not be sold to third parties for marketing purposes.  At your request, we will remove your personal information from our files.

Disputes arising hereunder shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the federal courts of the United States of America and/or the state courts of Texas and jurisdiction therefore shall rest solely in Texas, USA.

Entire Agreement; Severability

These Terms of Use incorporate by reference any notices contained on this Site and constitute the entire agreement with respect to your access to and use of this Site.
